Parametric Bracket with Screw Holes

A parametric U-shaped bracket/strap for securely mounting power strips, cable boxes, or similar rectangular items under a desk, shelf, or cabinet — no adhesive tape required. The bracket wraps over the top of the item and anchors down on either side with screw-mounting flanges, holding it firmly in place against a horizontal surface.

Designed in OpenSCAD, the model is fully parametric: adjust the inner width and height to fit your specific item, the wall thickness and flange length to suit your mounting surface, and the screw hole size and placement to match your hardware — all directly in the source file.

Before printing, measure the item you intend to secure and double-check hole spacing against your screws. Print with a structural setting (adequate wall count/infill) since the flanges bear mounting load — orient the part with the flat mounting flanges on the bed for the strongest print.
